Howard Stern played clips of Pat Robertson\'s rant this morning, and Sandy\'s post prompted me to post my thoughts as well. Can we stop referring to Pat Robertson as a Christian? I\'m not sure what he is now, but he clearly doesn\'t believe in the same God that I learned about growing up. Remember, this is the same man that proposed our government assassinate Venezuela\'s president. Today, he\'s suggesting that disaster may strike a Pennsylvannia town because it voted out school board members who favored teaching creationism, I mean \"intelligent design\".

\"God is tolerant and loving, but we can\'t keep sticking our finger in his eye forever,\" Robertson said.

Somehow, I don\'t think this is the same all-loving, all-forgiving God that Christ taught us about.
